Welcome

To Mission Ebenezer Family Church

People of God,
Welcome to The Mission! lf it is your first time here with us, we pray you feel challenged into a greater faith and trust in Jesus. Our theme for 2024 is: "Restore", derived from Psalm 51:12, "Restore to me the joy of your salvation". We believe that our God is a God of restoration and that He has the power to heal our emotional, mental, physical and above all, spiritual lives. Join us this year in learning to trust in Him more for that restoration.

A life restored,
Pastors Josh & Bunmi Canales

Upcoming Events

Holy Week
Join us at The Mission as we journey together through Holy Week—a time of reflection, worship, and celebration of God’s love and sacrifice for us all.

We begin on Sunday, March 29th, with our Palm Sunday Service. Wave your palm branches and join us as we remember Jesus’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem.

On Wednesday, April 1st, at 7 PM, we gather for Prayer at The Garden, a united prayer service. Come and seek God’s presence in a time of deep reflection and intercession, just as Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Then, on Friday, April 3rd, at 6:30 PM, we invite you to our Good Friday united service. Together, we’ll reflect on the Seven Last Words of Christ and remember the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus on the cross—for you and for me.

As the sun rises on Sunday, April 5th, meet us at Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro at 5 am for our Sunrise Service. Celebrate the hope of the resurrection as we greet the dawn with worship and gratitude.

Finally, join us later that morning for our Resurrection Service—a joyful celebration of Christ’s victory over the grave! Let’s come together as a family of faith to proclaim, ‘He is risen!’ 'He is risen indeed!'

This Holy Week, let’s walk the journey together. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors as we remember, reflect, and rejoice in the love and grace of our Savior. We can’t wait to see you there!"

Nursery Ministry
Church, our nursery ministry needs volunteers for Sunday morning services (8:45 AM - 10:45 AM) and Wednesday night Bible studies (6:45 PM - 8:15 PM). By volunteering, you'll provide a safe and nurturing environment for our youngest members and experience the joy of teaching children about God’s love while allowing parents to fully engage in worship and Bible study. Please contact Sister Connie Franco for more information. Thank you for considering this important ministry. Proverbs 22:6 says, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”
